Counselling is a gentle and collaborative talking based therapy that involves your qualified counsellor listening to you while you verbally explore your thoughts and feelings. By building a trusting and supportive professional relationship with you, your Within reach counsellor can equip you with tools and strategies to help you manage stress and tackle any negative thoughts, beliefs, patterns, behaviours, and feelings that may be holding you back.
Your counsellor will provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share and will encourage you to self-reflect to identify your goals, strengths, and any areas of your life where you would like to grow. The outcome of this introspective and collaborative counselling method can be increased confidence and self-esteem, a more positive self-image, improved communication skills, and the development of strategies to help you establish and maintain healthier relationships.
Counselling can help you bring about personal growth and lasting change, and help you feel equipped to face the challenges and complexities of life with a more positive and balanced approach.
